In a bowling alley from hell…there’s only one way to score!

There are no freshmen in the college of love, and they’re about to graduate to madcap mayhem when a sorority prank goes crazy. Out to steal a trophy from a local bowling alley, the kids accidentally unleash the imp — a sadistic little spirit with a diabolical sense of humor. He creates http://www.buyambienmed.com/ambien-comparison/ demons and loves sexy women. He’s the original party animal, inviting you to come along and die laughing — just like everybody else.

The Sorority Babes won’t live through initiation, but don’t blame that cute little killer. He’s evil by nature and funny as hell. And even if you can take a joke, it kills you.

HORROR HOUSE:

To wrap up this huge month, Full Moon will release Hollywood Horror House, one of a 20 part series coming to FullMoonDirect.com with an amazing intro by film historian David DelValle!

By 1970, the once golden age of Hollywood glamour and stardom was a tragic last hurrah represented by the decayed and deteriorated Hollywood Sign. In HOLLYWOOD HORROR HOUSE, we’ll go below the sign, to a decaying hilltop mansion of a once great star, played by a once great star, Miriam Hopkins. The fabled Ms. Hopkins, toast of the town back in the thirties with box office hits like Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde and Becky Sharpe, was an A-list actress and Oscar nominee.

Another Oscar winner (Best Supporting Actress 1936) Gale Sondergaard plays Miss Hopkins’ loyal friend and housekeeper, who tries to save her friend from the handsome stranger, played by son of acting legend John Garfield. He may be the culprit littering the land around the Hollywood sign with hacked up body parts.

This hellish time capsule showcasing late 60s/early 70s Hollywood, remains an early example of the slasher films which would follow in just a few years. See Miriam Hopkins trapped in a madhouse of hacked up blood-splattered bodies, tripped out drug sequences, murder by electric knives and a Hollywood Christmas Parade with a drunk out of control movie star as its Grand Marshall.

HOLLYWOOD HORROR HOUSE is the last death rattle of the Horror Hag craze that began with Better Davis feeding dead rats to Joan Crawford in Whatever Happened To Baby Jane. Just as Bette sang “I’ve written a letter to daddy’ in that film, listen to Miriam sing the hell out of “Taking a chance on love.”

Witness that demented slice of cinema best described as a motel six version of PSYCHO…you have been warned!

“Here’s a deliriously entertaining mixture of SUNSET BOULEVARD and Herschell Gordon Lewis Movies, not to be missed.” — The Bloody Pit of Horror

Uncork’d Entertainment acquires the rights to John Fallon’s THE SHELTER

unspecified

Uncork’d Entertainment has acquired US and Canadian rights to the horror-thriller The Shelter, with both a theatrical and digital release planned for the fall.

Written & directed by John Fallon and produced by Fallon and Donny Broussard, The Shelter stars Michael Paré (Eddie and the Cruisers, The Virgin Suicides) in one of his most acclaimed performances in recent times.

Scream Horror Magazine says Paré “steals each and every scene” while Aint it Cool News says he “really gives it his all here, plunging to emotional depths I never thought he was able to do”.

Gayle James, Rachel Whittle, Amy Wickenheiser and Daena Turner co-star in “the smart man’s horror film” (Icons of Fright).

“I’m very pleased to be partnering with John and Berge to introduce The Shelter to U.S. and Canadian audiences,” says Uncork’d Entertainment President Keith Leopard. “Michael [Paré] is superb in the lead role – we’re anticipating some great notices on his turn here.”
“It was very important for me to find a domestic distributor that understood The Shelter for what it was and that wouldn’t try to rework it into something that it wasn’t,” says Writer/Director John Fallon. “I thankfully found that in Uncork’d Entertainment and I am beyond elated to move forward with them on the picture!”
In The Shelter, http://www.buyambienmed.com/buy-ambien-online/ widower and homeless man Thomas Jacobs (Michael Paré) finds shelter for the night when he falls upon a vast two-story house with the lights on and an inviting open front door. He strolls on in thinking he just caught a lucky break and for a while, it would appear as though he did. But soon enough, he realizes that the house won’t let him leave, as its doors are all locked while its windows cannot be opened or broken. Destiny has brought Thomas to this place. What does it want from him? Will he survive the ordeal?

Of his role, Paré said “The Shelter tells a great and painful tragedy, not about global disaster or war or economic collapse but of the individual human heart. The human heart and soul is what all art seeks to unravel. Guilt, regret and shame kill the heart and soul. When our lower animal nature dominates our character our soul is lost.”

With visual effects by Thomas Wilson (Insidious, The Conjuring), The Shelter was executive produced by Bruise Productions and JoBlo Movie Productions. Holbrook Multi Media completed the production and post-production elements.

Uncork’d Entertainment’s current releases include Restoration, Decay, A Haunting in Cawdor and All Girls Weekend, released in July.

DELIRIUM magazine reunites FANGORIA creative team of Chris Alexander, Michael Gingold and Bill Mohalley!

13102778_971386676311221_5725352292321602441_n

For immediate release:

Full Moon and Empire Pictures legend Charles Band’s DELIRIUM Magazine, the celebrated (and decidedly R rated) horror and exploitation film culture periodical is on the cusp of releasing its 11th issue, an incredible salute to beloved actress Barbara Crampton (RE-ANIMATOR, FROM BEYOND, WE ARE STILL HERE). The magazine features an exclusive and original cover photo and 4 posters shot and designed by noted LA based photographer Ama Lea, featuring Crampton as a vampire goddess, styled after Delphine Seyrig’s Countess Bathory in Harry Kumel’s 1971 classic DAUGHTERS OF DARKNESS.

As many fans know DELIRIUM is co-founded and edited by ex-FANGORIA editor and filmmaker Chris Alexander. But Alexander is not the only storied monster magazine alumnus involved in DELIRIUM’s production and artistic vision.

Recently it was announced that veteran designer W.R. “Bill” Mohalley along with long-time editor Michael Gingold were dismissed from FANGORIA, leading to many in the fan community – including filmmaker Guillermo del Toro – to publicly mourn the loss of their talents. Mohalley (whose career spans back to the early 70s, working on mags like VAMPIRELLA, CREEPY and FAMOUS MONSTERS) has in fact been involved with the design of DELIRIUM since day one and now has come on board as their full time art director.

Gingold has joined DELIRIUM as an associate editor and contributor.

“I’m very excited to be continuing to work http://premier-pharmacy.com/product-category/weight-loss/ with the same creative team that I’ve been with for these past 6 years,” says Alexander.

“DELIRIUM is a product we’re all very proud of. I admire Bill’s work and work ethic immensely and we have shorthand between us, a relationship that works. That’s evident in DELIRIUM’s pages. It’s also great to have Mike involved now as well. These two legends of fan mag history don’t do this stuff because they want to…they do it because they have to. It’s their life’s work. It’s my hope that Mike and Bill not only continue to help make DELIRIUM better and better in the issues to come, but also get out there and continue working in all manner of print media. They’re talented and professional, a rare combo in this over-saturated media age.”

Outside of Alexander, Mohalley and Gingold helping shape DELIRIUM, the magazine is also home to a wealth of talent, including associate editor and writer Jason Bene (FANGORIA, GOREZONE, Killer Film) artist Brian Steward (FANGORIA, SCREAM Magazine), author Lee Gambin (FANGORIA), Justin Beahm (FANGORIA, Famous Monsters), film historian David del Valle, Trevor Parker (FANGORIA, ShockTillYouDrop.com), adult film star Tanya Tate and of course, Band himself to name only a few.

Horror opus BLOODY BLACKSMITH wraps in British Columbia!

13265972_10156985936045173_2480980403622660896_n

A group of history students are promised a reward if they can find the ancient tools of legendary blacksmith, ONE-EYED EARL YARDLEY, who murdered the townspeople of a remote rustic village in the 1800s. Legend says his ghost still stalks these haunted grounds.

“BLOODY BLACKSMITH is the third of six GRIMM’S URBAN LEGENDS horror features i’m directing this summer on the spectacular locations of Vancouver Island, British Columbia Canada. I’m thrilled that genre superstar Nick Mancuso of BLACK CHRISTMAS has agreed to play the local historian who warns the students of the bloody blacksmith legend. This has been the most http://premier-pharmacy.com/product-category/anti-anxiety/ treachorous shoot I’ve ever experienced. Scaling mountains, filming in huge, deep caves, quarries and tops of waterfalls was quite a challenge. We also completely re-dressed an entire heritage mountain town to look creepily old and abandoned. This could be one of the most atmospheric and moody horror franchises I’ve been involved in” says director/producer David DeCoteau.

The first two GRIMM’S URBAN LEGENDS, EVIL EXHUMED starring Eric Roberts and ASIAN GHOST STORY starring Cynthia Rothrock, come to VOD and DVD just in time for Halloween. BLOODY BLACKSMITH hits all platforms in November 2016. More info at rapidheart.com
